India is gearing up to celebrate the 74th Republic Day on January 26, 2023. This is for the first time that Republic Day will be celebrated on the refurbished Central Vista avenue.

The nation will witness a variety of events, including the traditional march past, cultural performances by children, tableaux displays by states and central ministries and departments, acrobatic motorcycle rides, a fly past, and the Beating the Retreat Ceremony.

Republic Day 2023: Steps to buy parade tickets online

• Go to the Invitation Management System (IMS) or Aamantran online portal of the Ministry of Defence at aamantran.mod.gov.in.
• Enter the required details such as name, father/husband’s name, DOB, mobile number, and permanent address.
• Go to the login page and enter your mobile number.
• An OTP will be sent to your number.
• Then verify the captcha.
• After login, the ticket booking page will open up on your screen. Select the type of event (FDR-Republic Day Parade, Republic Day Parade, Rehearsal-Beating The Retreat, Beating The Retreat – FDR, Beating The Retreat Ceremony).
• Select an ID type and upload a valid identity proof.
• Complete the payment and buy the tickets.

Republic Day 2023: Steps to buy parade tickets offline

Republic Day tickets can be purchased offline from Sena Bhawan Gate No. 2, Shashtri Bhawan Gate No. 3, Main Gate Jantar Mantar, and Gate No. 1 Pragati Maidan.

The counters will be open daily (except January 23 due to full dress rehearsal) from 10:00 am to 12.30 pm and 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm.

Documents required while buying tickets from counters: Any government identification card, such as an Aadhaar card or Voter ID card.

Republic Day 2023: Tickets Price

The price of Republic Day tickets is Rs 20, Rs 100, or Rs 500, depending on the type of event you want to attend. A person can book a maximum of 10 tickets with one registered mobile number.
