Aam Aadmi Party MP Vikramjit Sahney on Saturday affirmed that he will establish 10 additional skill centres of excellence in Punjab that will create nearly 10,000 jobs. He added that over 2000 jobs have already been created after skilling youngsters at the skill development centre.

The AAP leader was speaking to the media on the completion of one year as the member of the Rajya Sabha. The AAP leader further stated that the first skill centre of excellence was formed in Amritsar and now another one will be opened shortly in Ludhiana where modern machines will be installed for the skilling the youth in an attempt to make them employable in the industry. 

The Aam Aadmi Party MP further underlined that his major objective has been on skilling and creating jobs for Punjab’s youngsters. He claimed that during this year, the Bhagwant Mann Singh led government has provided 2000 jobs after skilling youngsters at the skill development centres. He affirmed that he is also establishing 10 more world-class skill centres of excellence to create 10,000 jobs.

The new skill centres will come up in Bathinda, Patiala, Mohali, Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur and other areas with assistance from the state government, according to reports. Vikramjit Sahney further added that a committee of industrialists has been formed in each city and that it will be linked with the skill centres.

The AAP Rajya Sabha MP mentioned that the skill centres will also be set up in gurdwaras under the recently introduced Sikhya Langar Movement. The first one will come up in Gurdwara Nanaksar in Ludhiana, the AAP leader added. He further acclaimed that this movement will proceed a long way in making unemployed and hapless youngsters become an earning hand for the family. 

Furthermore, he also expressed his efforts to bring back Punjabi women stuck in other countries under a campaign against anti-human trafficking called Mission Hope. In addition, he also plans to set up drug de-addiction and rehabilitation centres in Hoshiarpur and multiple other areas.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders are protesting outside the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) headquarters amid the questioning of Delhi chief minister and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal in connection with the alleged Delhi liquor policy scam.

Amid Kejriwal’s questioning, AAP MP Raghav Chadha compared Kejriwal to Lord Krishna and called the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kansa. He said Kansa knew that Lord Shri Krishna would finish him and, hence, made every effort and hatched many conspiracies to inflict harm on Shri Krishna. He could not even harm a hair on his head.

Similarly, today the BJP knows that the AAP will bring their downfall and this is why they are trying every possible way to keep them mum, he added.

Before arriving at the CBI office in the national capital on Sunday, the AAP convenor said he will answer all the questions. He said that the BJP leaders are talking about his arrest. The CBI is controlled by BJP and whatever the saffron party will say, the central probe agency will do it, he added.

Kejriwal attacked the Centre saying some anti-national forces do not want India to develop.

Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann and other AAP leaders such as Kailash Gahlot, Gopal Rai, Imran Hussain, Atishi, Rajkumar Anand, and Saurabh Bhardwaj were protesting outside the CBI office.

The new excise policy allegedly had irregularities and was designed to benefit particular people or groups, pertaining to the liquor policy scam case in which CM Kejriwal has been called to testify. Later, the Delhi government abandoned the new excise policy and reinstated the old one.

Former Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, a key aide of Kejriwal, is currently inside jail over alleged irregularities in the excise scam. He was arrested by the CBI on February 26 and was arrested by the ED in the same case on March 9.

When Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chopra were spotted together

It all started when Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha were papped twice exiting a restaurant in Mumbai. Upon being asked about the relationship rumour, the AAP MP couldn’t help but blush and playfully replied to the reporter saying he would answer about Rajneeti (politics) and not Parineeti.

Moreover, Parineeti Chopra was also spotted outside Manish Malhotra’s residence which fuelled her wedding rumours with Chaddha. A report in Hindustantimes confirmed their relationship and said the couple is at their happy place now and might tie the knot soon.

Another report in India Today also confirmed their relationship and said both families are happy with the couple coming together, however, no dates have been fixed yet for the wedding festivities to start.

The report also said the wedding will take place in the presence of close friends and families and will be a small affair.

On the work front, Parineeti Chopra was last seen in Code Name: Tiranga with Hardy Sandhu and in Unnchai co-starring Amitabh Bachchan, Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher, and others. She will be next seen in Chamkila and Capsule Gill.
