Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal told the party members to be prepared to go to jail if the need arises and those who are scared of it should quit the party. His statement comes after Election Commission (EC) recognized AAP as a national party.

Addressing the party workers in Delhi today, the AAP convenor thanked all those who contributed to the party’s growth and helped it achieve national party status. He also remembered his party colleagues Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain who are currently lodged in jail.

He further said anti-national forces worked to put the former AAP ministers behind bars. All anti-national forces that want to halt the country’s progress are against AAP, said Arvind Kejriwal. He said those who are scared of it should quit the party.

Kejriwal, who is thrilled about the AAP’s swift 10-year journey to national party status, called the achievement miraculous and incredible and claimed it is nothing less than a miracle. He also stated it also carries a significant amount of responsibility.

He further said the AAP’s ideology is based on three pillars- die-hard honesty, patriotism and humanity and it’s high time to remember its ideology. He thanked all those who contributed to the AAP’s growth and helped it achieve the national party status, and remembered his party colleagues Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain who are currently lodged in jail.

He urged people to join the AAP in order to make India the number one country in the world.
