Ahana Deol, the younger daughter of Hema Malini and Dharmendra gave birth to twin girls. Ahana with husband Vaibhav Vohra shared the news on social media, as they named the newborns as Adea and Astraia Vohra.

Taking to her Instagram story, Ahana wrote that she feels blessed to announce the news of the arrival of her twin girls, born on November 26. Her post reads- sometimes miracles come in pairs,  excited brother Darian Vohra, overjoyed grandparents Hema Malini and Dharmendra Deol, Pushpa and Vipin Vohra.

Welcoming her granddaughters, Hema Malini in an interview to Spotbye said she had been shuttling between her home and Ahana’s place ever since the news broke of her pregnancy. It was her only outing during the pandemic, she said, adding that she will be spending more time with Ahana as there are three children to be looked after now.

The veteran actor also informed how delighted Dharmendra was to welcome the new arrivals in the family. Humari Phulwari badi ho rahi hai(our garden is growing), with Ahana’s three children and two daughters of elder daughter Esha Deol, I couldn’t have asked for more, quoted Dharmendra as told by Hema in the interview.

Ahana married Vaibhav Vohra, Delhi-based businessman in 2014. Year later, the couple welcomed their first child named Darian, who is now 6-year-old.

Unlike Esha, Ahana has never been into the acting business, and has always kept herself away from media glare. However, she had assisted filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Guzaarish featuring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Last year in June, the Deol family welcomed a newborn baby Miraya, the second daughter of Esha and Bharat Takhtani. The couple are now proud parents to two daughters Radhya and Miraya.Esha married Bharat Takhtani in a big fat wedding in 2012.
