The University of Delhi released the list of vacant seats for Round 2 of allocation on October 26. The window will be open for two days. Those who have secured their admission in Round 1 but want to upgrade can reorder their higher preference from October 26 to 27. Candidates have to visit the official website of DU at du.ac.in, admission.uod.ac.in to check the list of vacant seats.

DU released a notification that reads The candidates who opt for upgradation will be automatically upgraded based on the allocation policy of CSAS 2022. If a new preference is allocated, the claim for an earlier seat admitted stands forfeited automatically leading to its auto cancellation.

Colleges with Vacant Seats left

According to the list, most of the seats in popular colleges are already filled up.

Aryabhatta College: No seats left for B.A Program (History + Political Science).
Hindu College: No seats left for B.A. Economics.
St. Stephen’s College: Several courses have only a few PwD (persons with disabilities) seats left.
Miranda House: No seats left in this college. All seats in over 20 courses are filled up.

As of October 25, the first round of CSAS admissions was closed, and around 59,100 candidates had been enrolled. Candidates can check du.ac.in for the announcement of the CSAS second allotment list on October 30.

The deadline for accepting seats for the candidates in the round two allocation list is November 1. The colleges will verify and approve the online application by November 2, and the deadline for fee payment is November 3. On November 10, DU will release the third allocation list, and the first spot allocation round for vacant seats will commence on November 17.

The second special drive cut-off list has been released. The University of Delhi has announced the cut-off list for the second special drive for undergraduate studies. Starting from tomorrow, November 25, 2021 , candidates can apply for the 2nd special drive cut-off list from 10 am onwards.

On the official website, admission.uod.ac.in, the candidates can find the combined list for the Arts, Science, and Commerce streams.

Moreover, the Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College has set the cut-off bar for B Sc (Hons) Physics at 88 per cent, whereas the Aryabhatta College has set the cut-off for BSc (Hons) Mathematics at 87 per cent.

Also, the Ramjas College hs kept their cut-off to 94.50 per cent for BA (Hons) English and 98.05 per cent cut-off for BA (Hons) Economics.

Till November 26, 2021, candidates can apply against the 2nd special drive cut-off list from 11:59 pm. The colleges will publish the merit list and it will also accept applications for vacant seats from November 27, 2021 (10 a.m.) to November 29, 2021 (11:59 pm). Fees must be paid by the candidates between November 27, 2021 to November 30, 2021 till 5pm.

According to the Delhi University (DU) statement, candidates who were unable to seek admission or cancelled their admission in any of the University’s Colleges during any of the preceding Cut-offs and were thus not admitted but meet any of the preceding cut-offs and Special Drive – I may be considered for admission under the Special Drive – II, provided seats in the said category are available.

During the Second Special Drive, no movement will be allowed. In any of the earlier five cut-offs, the candidates who have secured admission (including the Special Cut-off/ Drive-1) will not be allowed to participate again in the Special Drive-2.

Cancellation action will be taken for the candidates who have already taken admission in any program and college of University of Delhi. Hence, those candidates will not be eligible to take part in the Special Drive.

Delhi University colleges will release the first cut-off lists for the undergraduate courses today on October 1. Reportedly, DU cut-off marks will be higher this year. For some colleges, students will require 100 percent for admission during the first round.

This year, more female students have applied for admissions than male students. According to the data shared by Delhi University, as many as 1,372,71 male students and 1,49,952 female students have applied for admissions in different colleges under the Delhi University.

Students can check the DU first cut-off list on the official website, du.ac.in and admission.uod.ac.in. The admission process will start on October 4 at 10 am and will continue till October 6 pm. The last date of payment will be October 8.

The second cut-off will be declared on October 9, with admissions starting from October 11 at 10 am and ending on October 13 at 11:59 pm.

Documents required for DU admission 2021

  • 10th board exam certificate and mark sheet
  • 12th board mark sheet, original certificate, or provisional certificate
  • Category certificate
  • Conduct certificate
  • Migration certificate form
  • Transfer certificate
  • Two passport size photographs

Cut-off list of Aryabhatta College

Aryabhatta College has released its first DU cut-off 2021 today. The list covers 13 undergraduate courses. For the candidates who belong to the unreserved category, the cut-off for BSc (H) Computer Science is 97% and for BSc Mathematics, it is 97%. Candidates for BCom should have 98% this year and 96% for BA (H) Political Science programme.

Cut-off list of Deshbandhu College

Deshbandhu College has also released its first cut-off list. The college has asked 98% (unreserved category) for Physics and 97% for Economics, BCom (Honours) and other programmes. 

Cut-off list of St Stephen’s College

St Stephen’s College has also released its first cut-off list for admissions. Candidates who are rooting for the college will need at least 99.5% marks for courses like BA Economics honours. While the cut-off for most courses is at 99%.
