The war between Russia and Ukraine has reached its ninth day. Russian troops have also captured Ukraine’s Kherson, a strategically important state. Russia promises help to ramp up India’s evacuation process

A day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a word with Russian President Vladimir Putin about the safe evacuation of Indians stranded in Ukraine, the latter promised to send 130 buses to evacuate them from Ukraine’s battle-scarred Kharkiv and Sumy to its Belgorod region.
