Ever since Baahubali 2 was released, the movie had a monstrous run at the world box office and turned out to be the highest earning Indian film of all time. Since then the audience was waiting to see how long with a movie take to break that record but seems like Shah Rukh Khan starrer will soon achieve that milestone.

Yes! you read that right, Shahrukh Khan’s Pathaan is going to achieve the title of highest grossing Hindi film. After Friday’s box office collection, SRK-Deepika Padukone and John Abraham starrer will beat the Hindi version of Prabhas’ Bahubali 2 in terms of earning at the box office.

The Yash Raj Film is directed by Siddharth Anand while it also stars Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana in pivotal roles. Seems like Shah Rukh Khan’s return to theaters after four years has paid off.

If we talk about the earnings of the Hindi version of Bahubali 2, then it did a business of Rs 510.99 crore at the box office. In this way, it was named after the title of the highest-grossing film. On the other hand, Pathaan’s Hindi version has done a business of Rs 510.65 crore. In this way, as soon as today’s box office collection comes, it will deprive Bahubali from the title of top film.

For the unversed, breaking his silver screen absence, Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan was released in theaters on 25 January. The film earned around Rs 75 lakh on its sixth Thursday. If we talk about the total earnings of Tamil, Hindi and Telugu versions of Pathaan, then it has earned Rs 528.29 crore.

If Pathaan breaks Baahubali 2’s record then the Prabhas starrer will shift to the second spot followed by KGF Chapter 2 and Dangal.
