Two accused have been arrested by the Mumbai Crime Branch on suspicion of firing on April 14 outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra. According to Mumbai Police, the two shooters were arrested late on Monday night in Bhuj, Gujarat.

The suspects were identified as Sagar Shrijogendra Pal, 21, and Vicky Sahab Gupta, 24, both of Masihi, in the West Champaran district of Bihar. The suspects will be brought to Mumbai on Tuesday morning.

The Bollywood actor’s farmhouse is located in the Panvel, Navi Mumbai, and the two shooters, who are suspected of opening fire outside his home had apparently rented a house there for a month. Around 5 in the morning on Sunday, two unidentified men shot four rounds outside the actor’s Bandra Galaxy Apartments before leaving the scene.

Salman Khan was reportedly present at his home when the gunshots happened, according to the police. However, no one was injured or died in the incident.

After firing, the suspects left their bike outside a church, walked a little distance, and took an autorickshaw to the Bandra railway station, according to officials. After that, they took a train to the Santacruz station and, in order to continue, hailed another autorickshaw.

Salman Khan, meanwhile, was seen leaving Galaxy Apartments for the first time since the shooting incident on Monday afternoon. Numerous police vans surrounded Salman’s white Nissan Patrol Bulletproof SUV.

In response to the firing, Arbaaz said that the family was taken aback by the unexpected event. The recent incident of firing by two unidentified person on a motorcycle at Galaxy apartment the residence of the Salim Khan family is very disturbing and unnerving, Arbaaz wrote in a long statement shared on his official Instagram feed. This horrific event that occurred has shocked our entire family.

Meanwhile, in a social media post, Anmol Bishnoi, Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, took responsibility for the the incident.

Gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi, who is in jail, and Goldie Brar, who is wanted, have both made repeated threats to assassinate Salman Khan. Sources claim that Bishnoi and Brar sent their assassins to Mumbai in order to murder the actor.

Early in the morning, gunshots were heard outside Salman Khan’s Bandra house. An unidentified person fired a gun into the air while riding a bike about five in the morning. Police are currently looking into the matter and conducting searches.

It has been reported that two men fired bullets outside Salman’s Galaxy Aparetment at around 5:00 am. A gunshot fire was found close to the air conditioner mounted on the wall beside it. An investigation has been launched by Mumbai Police to identify the gunman. The forensic team and the crime branch also arrived at the location.

However, there are currently no reports of injuries. The security around Salman Khan’s home has been inxcreased, according to the police. On the other side, the Bandra Police Station has received an official complaint (FIR) against unidentified attackers. DCP has also arrived at the location. Images of the two suspects who opened fire at Salman’s house on the bike appeared. In the images, the two accussed can be seen wearing helmets to prevent identification. Salman’s home has CCTV installed, and the image was taken using it.

This is not the first time that Salman Khan has been attacked or threatened. Several people have threatened to kill him. Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi had planned ahead of time to use his goons to attack the Bollywood actor. The man who was given the idea to kill Salman Khan is none other than Naresh Shetty, the mentor of mobster Kala Jathedi and the most important person in Bishnoi’s gang.

In addition, mobster Sampat Nehra had set up camp in Mumbai for a few days in order to attack Salman Khan. Not only that, but after escaping, infamous mobster Kala Jathedi also made Mumbai his home. At one point or another, all of these mob figures resided in Mumbai’s Vaasi area.

A shocking incident has been reported from Mumbai’s Bandra restaurant where a person was served rat meat instead of chicken. A person has been identified as Anurag Singh, a resident of Goregaon who works as an executive in a bank.

A bank executive and his friend Amin Khan on Monday filed a police complaint at Bandra police station stating that they went for dinner on Sunday at  Papa Pancho Da Dhaba where they were shocked to find a piece of rat meat in the chicken dish they had ordered.      

The restaurant in their response has accused Singh and his friend of being drunk and trying to extort money from them.

After the complaint, police arrested the cooks and the manager. However, they were released on bail later.

According to reports, cooks Narayan Das and Sanjeev Kar, and manager Vivian Sequeira were booked under IPC sections for adulteration of food or drink intended for sale, an act endangering life or personal safety of others, and common intention.

The food plate in which the rat piece was found has been sent to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for examination and the manager and cook were arrested.

The manager Vivian Sequeira said in his statement that it is an old restaurant and no such incident had happened in the 22 years of its existence. He further alleged that the complainants were heavily drunk.

The manager also stated that he was not at the restaurant when dinner was served. He headed home but returned to attend to the query. The two customers were heavily drunk and the server spotted them consuming alcohol which they objected to since restaurants do not serve alcohol, he added. The two intentionally complained to extort money from us. The food is checked and microwaved so such a thing never happens, said Sequeira.

Devraj Gore, an advocate for the restaurant said that they (complainant) told the manager whether he would like to settle the matter and tried to extort money. Later they approached the police. This has been done to tarnish the restaurant’s reputation which has not faced any complaint in 22 years.

In a major blow to Aditya Thackeray, the Yuva Sena’s (Uddhav Bal Thackeray) Rahul Kanal  has left the party to join hands with Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena on Saturday.

Kanal’s move has hit hard to Thackeray’s Sena especially Uddhav Thackeray’s son Aditya Thackeray as Kanal was said to be a key associate of him and was the UBT Sena’s brand youth icon in Mumbai’s Bandra. Kanal was a member of the Yuva Sena core committee, whose exit comes just ahead of the BMC polls.

The leader will be induced to Shiv Sena by CM Shine personally today.

Kanal on his exit said the decision was taken by him purely for the welfare of Bandra, Mumbai and others and also for the sake of self-respect and dignity.

Kanal claimed he was sidelined by the Thackerays saying the situation would have been better if there could be timely intervention by Thackeray leadership resolving some of the issues. But showing his faith in Shinde and leadership he said the CM will do justice with young leaders like him and work accordingly for the purpose of development.

Kanal and Aditya Thackeray had shared a partnership for more than 10 years since the fomration of the Yuva Sena. He was a member of the BMC education committe appointed in 2017 and was later assigned to become a Trustee on Shri Saibaba Santhan trust (SSST), the governing body that looks after the adminstartion of Shirdi Sai Baba temple. He was also one of the contenders for an MLC seat during Shiv Sena(UBT)’s regime.

Apart from politics, Kanal is also known to have his links with Bollywood stars and high profile personalities from different industries.

An ugly brawl broke out between the bouncers of Escobar Pub and a few customers in Mumbai’s Bandra. The incident took place on June 23 and multiple videos of the fight have gone viral on social media. In the video, the bouncers of the Bandra club can be seen using rods to beat up customers. Furthermore, the bouncers of the Escobar Pub can be seen thrashing customers before throwing them out of the pub.

According to reports, the fight broke out due to an argument between two group of guests at the club. The two groups were sitting at neighbouring tables and had already had a disagreement earlier. One of the guests had opened a bottle of champagne and a few droplets of the drink fell over the members of the other group which led to the fight.

The bouncers at the bar decided to intervene, however things got out of control. The bouncers then beat up some guests who happened to be young college students.

Meanwhile some eyewitnesses called the police control room and informed the police about the incident. The information was sent to the Bandra police station and a team was sent to the pub immediately. The two customers were taken to the Bhabha Hospital, Bandra where they were treated for their injuries.

The pub staffers were seen beating up the guests with rods in one of the viral videos. Another video shows how the staff tried to push the guests into a lift. After the incident came to light, the police arrested the six bouncers and the manager of the Escobar. The officer said that the accused have been charged under section 143 (unlawful assembly), 147(rioting), 148(rioting armed with deadly weapon) and 324 (voluntarily causing hurt with deadly weapons) of the Indian Penal Code. The accused were produced in court on Saturday. The Police officials added the accused are in police custody now.

In yet another shocking incident, a 41-year-old man was stabbed to death by his acquaintance in Maharashtra’s Thane on Friday evening. The incident took place at Khar subway after the victim, identified as Parvez Bashir Sheikh, had an argument with the accused, named Akeel Sayyed, for harassing his wife. The police arrested the accused on Saturday.

The reports state that Sayyed, a resident of Golibar Nagar in Santacruz, was friends with Sheikh’s wife, Shahjahan. Pradeep More, Senior Inspector of Vakola Police Station, said Sayyed and Shahjahan were in the same college and since then he has been harassing her. He further stated that while Shahjahan married Sheikh, Sayyed also got married, but he continued to harass her and wanted to marry her.

According to the report in the Indian Express, Sayyed has been after Shahjahan to marry him. Shahjahan has always refused to marry him as she was already married to Sheikh. Earlier, Sayyed had also threatened Shahjahan to kill her husband if she didn’t marry him, but she ignored his threats.

The police in this matter said that before meeting at Khar subway to finally end the matter, Sayyed and Sheikh had also confronted each other in the past when they had a huge fight. The official said that Sheikh wanted to put an end to this, which is why he called Sayyed again. A verbal altercation broke out between the two during the meeting, and Sayyed then stabbed him three times before fleeing, said an official.

Sheikh was immediately rushed to the hospital by the locals, where he died. The case has been registered with the Vakola Police.

A case of murder has been filed at the behest of Shahjahan, Sheikh’s wife. The police then started an investigation and tracked down Sayyed in Bandra. The police later arrested him.
