Bengali actor Abhishek Chatterjee passed away on Thursday. His demise has left everyone in shock. The cause behind his death is not confirmed yet, the reports are suggesting that he suffered a heart attack. He was 58 -year-old.

Abhishek Chatterjee has been a part of a number of Bengali films and television serials. He also worked with Bollywood actor Juhi Chawla in the Bengali film Amar Prem.

He made his debut with the Bengali film Pathbhola (1986), directed by Tarun Majumdar. Chatterjee has also worked alongside veterans such as Prosenjit Chatterjee Sandhya Roy, Tapas Paul, and Utpal Dutt.

Chatterjee has been part of films like Ora Charjon, Tumi Koto Sundar, Surer Akashe, Toofan, Maryada, Amar Prem, Papi, Haraner Nat Jamai, Jeevan Pradip, Purushottam Abirvab, Mayer Anchal, Arjun Aamar Naam and Sabuj Saathi, among others. Apart from this, he has also been a part of television serials.

Tollywood industry is shocked by his sudden demise and actors such as Laboni Sarkar, Gourab Roy Chowdhury, Trina Saha, Koushik Roy, and several others mourned his sudden demise.

On the academic front, Chatterjee did his study at Baranagore Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama High School and then graduated from Seth Anandram Jaipuria College, University of Calcutta.

IGL has reported that the price of CNG has been increased by Re 1 per SCM, while on the other hand the price of PNG has been increased by 50 paise. This increase has been done due to the rising price of gas. The new price will come into effect from today, March 24.
