Hundreds of government job aspirants were detained by the Madhya Pradesh police for staging protests in Bhopal on Sunday. They were demanding time-bound completion of the state examination.

A journalist informed on Twitter that the government job aspirants were being stopped at the borders of Bhopal. Some youths have even been taken into police custody. These youths were coming on foot to conduct satyagraha in Bhopal. Youth were agitating for the demand of employment and recruitment. Thousands of posts were lying vacant for a long time.

The protests were started by a youth organisation National Educated Youth Union (NEYU). Its president Manoj Singh said that they have staged one-day protests many times but this time they have made up their minds to fight either in or out. They have been waiting for the results of PSC and other exams of Vyapam since 2018.

Sharing a video of this incident, NSUI’s national president Neeraj Kundan wrote that the Madhya Pradesh Police and Administration was trying unsuccessfully to suppress the voice of the rights of the students at the behest of the dictatorial BJP government. Students were being taken into custody and were being harassed somewhere. But the students would not stop, they would keep fighting for their rights.

Another journalist wrote on Twitter that Sunday has become a hectic day for the Bhopal police. Students under NEYU4INDIA proved themselves way smarter than state agencies. Police prevented them from one side to enter Madhya Pradesh’s capital city.

NEYU4INDIA informed on Twitter that the police have arrested hundreds of comrades. They were adding fuel to the fire. Now youth from the entire Bhopal city has come on the streets! Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan should come as soon as possible and fulfil their demands
