The tussle between the BharatPe management and Ashneer Grover is not going to rest anytime soon. BharatPe CEO took a jibe at Grover and said that he cannot pay salaries to his employees as Grover stole it all.

It all started when a former BharatPe employee, Karan Darki took to LinkedIn and shared his plight. He requested the company to pay his salary for the month of March. The employee also alleged that BharatPe terminated the employment of all the old administrative staff and has not credited their salaries yet.

Ashneer Grover commented on the post and asked the company to look into the matter. He also tagged the CEO, Suhail Sameer, and Hersimran Kaur who is the new head of financial control.

Grover’s sister Aashima Grover also commented on the post and called it a shameless bunch following which Suhail Sameer wrote that very little was left to pay salaries as Grover stole all the money.

Last month, Ashneer Grover resigned as the managing director of the Fintech platform. The decision came after BharatPe released a statement saying that they have removed the co-founder and managing director from all positions in the company. The management of BharatPe had accused Ashneer Grover and his wife Madhuri Jain Grover of using the company’s fund for personal expenses.

After a spate of controversies took place at fintech firm BharatPe, Ashneer Grover resigned from his position of Managing Director and Director of the Board of BharatPe. His resignation came days after services of his wife Madhuri Jain Grover, who was the head of controls were terminated over the allegations of misappropriation of funds.

Ashneer in his resignation letter wrote that he is writing this with a heavy heart as today he is being forced to bid adieu to a company of which he is a founder. Grover said that he is saying this with his head held high that today this company stands as a leader in the fintech world. Since the beginning of 2022, unfortunately, he has been embroiled in baseless and targeted attacks on him and his family by a few individuals who are ready not only to harm him and his reputation but also harm the reputation of the company, which ostensibly they are trying to protect.

Grover further wrote that from being celebrated as the face of Indian entrepreneurship and an inspiration to the Indian youth to build their own businesses, he is now wasting himself fighting a long, lonely battle against his own investors and management. Unfortunately, in this battle, the management has lost what is actually at stake — BharatPe.

Meanwhile, Grover was caught in yet another controversy as a phone conversation went viral in which a man, alleged to be Ashneer Grover, was heard abusing an employee of Kotak Mahindra Bank after the lender has missed out on the initial public offering (IPO) allotment for Nykaa. At first, BharatPe managing director claimed the audio was fake. Later, he deleted the tweet. Kotak Mahindra Bank allegedly initiated a case against Ashneer Grover and his wife for using inappropriate language against their employees.

BharatPe founder Ashneer Grover has recently hit headlines after his abusive call audio went viral on social media. The viral audio had two male voices and one female voice. Reportedly, a Twitter user had claimed that the voices were of Grover and his wife and an employee of the Kotak Mahindra Bank.

Later, Grover had claimed that the audio clip is fake and was an attempt to extort money from him.

On Monday, January 11 Kotak Mahindra Bank sent a legal notice to Ashneer Grover and his wife in connection with the abusive call made to one of the employees of the bank. It all started on October 30 when the couple had sent a legal notice to the bank without clarifying the reasons. If reports are to be believed, the couple had accused the bank of not getting Nykaa initial public offering. The couple had also sought Rs 500 crore from the bank of damages.

Followed by the legal notice sent to the bank by BharatPe, the bank has now sent the legal notice to the fintech company. In the notice, the bank said that the notice was received by them and was replied to appropriately at the time, including placing on record their objections to inappropriate language used by Grover. The bank also said that appropriate legal action is being pursued on the matter.

Amid all the hullabaloo, Tweeple are now urging everyone to uninstall the application.
