Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar was a key figure in the development of India’s constitution. He was a well-known leader who advocated for the rights of Dalits and other underprivileged people. Every year on December 6, India celebrates Mahaparinirvan Diwas, the death anniversary of the Father of the Indian Constitution.

BR Ambedkar was the Chairman of the Constitution Drafting Committee for the constitution of independent India on August 29, 1947. Apart from this, he was the one who suggested including Ashok Chakra on the Indian National Flag. Also known as Babasaheb, the leader has the highest number of statues in the world and is the only Indian whose statue is attached with Karl Marx in the London Museum.
