]]> As the Covid-19 cases are significantly dropping in Bihar, the state government on Monday has announced more relaxations in existing Covid curbs in the state under which it has granted permission to the cinema halls to operate with 50 percent of its total capacity. Officials told the media that the decision came after assessing the ground situation of Coronavirus in the state.

Meanwhile, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday declared that the schools up to class 8 can re-open with 50 percent capacity, while classes 9 and above can re-open at full capacity in the state. He also urged the school management to pay extra focus to covid protocols such as wearing masks, social distancing in the school premises. Bihar CM has also permitted all coaching institutes and colleges to operate with 100 percent capacity.

As per the official order, all private and government offices would operate normally from Monday onwards with full focus on Covid protocols. However, the order also stated that only fully vaccinated people would be allowed entry work offline in the office premises.

Talking about the Covid cases, the state has witnessed another decline in daily covid cases on Sunday. As per the official data, the state has registered less than 500 covid cases with no Covid related death on Sunday. Meanwhile, the total number of active cases in the state dropped to 2,450 on the same day.

As per the health minister on Sunday, the state’s Covid caseload has now reached 8,27,312. However, 8,12,625 people have recovered from the virus in the state, including 761 people in the last 24 hours.
