A speeding roadways bus full of passengers collided with a tractor in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr district. During the accident, the bus overturned in the ditch and the driver died on the spot. More than 20 passengers are injured and 7 of them are said to be in serious condition. All the injured were admitted to the district hospital.

After getting information about the accident, Bulandshahr DM Chandra Prakash Singh and SSP Shlok Kumar inquired about the accident from the injured passengers and instructed the doctors to provide better treatment to the injured and also inspected the spot. Some of the candidates who came to take the exam of UPPET are among the injured as being told to the media.

The UPPET exam was organized in Bulandshahr, for which a lot of students came from far across and wide to appear for the exam. Due to the large number of students in the city, the problem of transport remained throughout the day. Although late in the evening, the speeding bus of Bulandshahr depot going towards Anupshahr suddenly collided with a tractor on the highway near Shivali village, after which the bus fell into the roadside ditch.

After the accident, there was commotion among the passengers. The villagers of the passers by broke the glass of the bus, but still the injured passengers could barely get out of the bus. Later, they broke in and started getting them out and sending to the hospital with the help of ambulance and other vehicles.

The area police reached the spot, the DM and SSP sent them for the inspection of the treatment of the injured. It is being told that the speeding was the cause of the accident. After this incident, there was also a long jam on Bulandshahr Anupshahr road near Shivali village. And the Jahangirabad Kotwali policemen were engaged in getting the vehicles out of the traffic jam.
