The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) has extended the last date for submission of online applications for CAT 2022. Earlier, the registrations for the Common Admission Test (CAT) were supposed to end on September 14 but now the business school has extended the deadline.

The last date to apply for a CAT is now September 21. Interested candidates can register for the CAT exam at the official website of IIM at iimcat.ac.in by 5 pm.

CAT exam centers

Candidates can choose six test cities according to their preferences. This year, candidates will also have the option of choosing Imphal, Manipur as their exam center for the first time.

Eligibility criteria and documents required for CAT 2022

For applying to CAT 2022, candidates must have done their graduation with 50 percent marks or equivalent from a recognized institution or institute. However, there are relaxations for those in the reserved category.

Candidates must have a valid and unique email account and a mobile phone number throughout the selection process.

CAT 2022: Fees

The online registration fee is Rs 2300 for all category candidates while the fee is Rs 1150 for SC/ST/PwD category candidates.

CAT 2022: Exam Date

An admit card for the exam will be available on October 27, 2022. IIM will conduct the CAT 2022 exam in a computer-based mode in three sessions lasting two hours across 150 cities on November 27, 2022.

• Go to the official website of IIM at iimcat.ac.in.
• Tap on the New Candidate Registration.
• After registration, create a User ID and password.
• Login and fill the application form and upload the required documents
• Then pay fees.
• Click on submit and save or download it for future purposes.
