The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the results of its 12th examinations on Friday. Students can check their results on CBSE’s official website, cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in.

The results are also available on DigiLocker via SMS.

CBSE conducted the Class 12 term 2 board exams from April 26 to June 4. The Board prepared the final mark sheet based on both term 1 and term 2 marks. The scorecard has the marks obtained during the academic year including internal assessment, practical exams, project work, and pre-board results.

Reports said the overall pass percentage stands at 91.71% and girls have outshone the boys this year.

CBSE 12th board result 2022 pass percentage:

  • Overall pass percentage: 92.71%
  • Overall girls pass percentage: 94.54%
  • Overall boys pass percentage: 91.25%

CBSE 12th results 2022 toppers list

Reports said 14,44,341 students registered for the Class 12th Board exam and 14,35,366 appeared out of which 13,30,662 passed the exams. This year, 94.54 per cent of girls have been successful in the CBSE board exam and 100 per cent of the transgender category has passed the exam.

This year, the Board will not release the toppers and merit list. Here’s why:

  • As per reports, the decision was taken to avoid unhealthy competition among the students and the Board will not declare the first, second, and third toppers.
  • Reports also said that the Board will issue the merit certificate to 0.1 per cent of students who have scored the highest marks in the subjects.

  • Step 2: Click on CBSE 12th results 2022 on the homepage.
  • Step 3: Enter your required credentials such as date of birth, roll number, etc.
  • Step 4: Your CBSE 12th result 2022 will be displayed on the screen.
  • Step 5: Dowload the result and take a printout.
