The Central Board of Secondary Education is set to conduct the 15th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) from December this year and will end by January next year. CBSE has also extended the last date of submission of application till October 25, according to the official notice. Earlier, the last date of submission was October 19, 2021.

According to the new notice, the examination of CTET will take place from December 16 to January 13, 2022. Moreover, in the notice, it was mentioned that if the candidates who have already applied for the CTET examination wish to change their city or need to make any correction in their forms then they need to fill an online application form and they can do it from October 28 to November 2. However, after this date, no changes will be allowed.

According to the notice, the graduate applicants with a minimum of 55 per cent marks or equivalent grade and three-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed can also apply for CTET in December 2021.

In the notice, it was mentioned that the test will be conducted in CBT Mode only (Computer Based Test). The online application process for the CTET examination has been started on September 20, 2021.

Step 1: You need to visit the official website of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test – ctet.nic.in.

Step 2: You need to click on the apply for CTET December 2021 link.

Step 3: Then, you need to enter your login credentials.

Step 4: After this, you need to fill the form and upload the required documents.

Step 5: In the next step, you need to pay the fees and click on the submit option.

Step 6: Now, you can take a hard copy of it for future use.

The Central Board of Secondary Education will start the registration process for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2021 on September 20. The last date to register for the test is October 19. Those who want to apply for CTET 2021 can register on the official website ctet.nic.in.

The payment process will be done till October 20. Information brochure consisting of exam pattern, syllabus, etc. will be released tomorrow. As per the official notice released by CBSE, the exam will be conducted between December 16, 2021, to January 13, 2022. The exam will be held in 20 languages and will be computer-based.

“The test will be conducted in 20 (Twenty) languages throughout the country. The detailed Information Bulletin containing details of examination, syllabus, languages, eligibility criteria, examination fee, examination cities, and important dates will be available on CTET official website https://ctet.nic.in w.e.f. 20.09.2021 and the aspiring candidates are requested to download the Information Bulletin from the above-mentioned website only and read the same carefully before applying,” the statement read. 

CTET 2021: Important documents required during registration

  • Class 10 passing certificate
  • Class 12 passing certificate
  • Certificate of highest qualification
  • ID proof like Aadhaar Card or PAN Card
  • Scanned copy of passport size photograph
  • Scanned copy of the signature

CTET Exam Pattern:

CTET is divided into Paper I and II. The first paper is for candidates who want to teach classes 1 to 6 and paper II for the rest classes. To test the problem-solving abilities and critical thinking of the candidate, CTET will have more conceptual-based questions this time.

CTET 2021 Exam fee:

In the statement released by the CBSE, it has been mentioned that the application fees for the general and OBC category will be Rs 1,000 for Paper I or II and it will be Rs 1,200 for both the papers. For ST or SC categories and differently-abled persons, the application fees will be Rs 500 and Rs 600 for both papers.
