Though a natural at finance, Nishant’s focus was often far wider then his chosen professional degree. Though he became a Chartered Accountant in 1999, Nishant has always tended towards technology, a future-forward thought process and the impact of geo-politics on the economy. 

The merging of technology and finance over the last couple of decades was a marriage of two of his passions. The global financial crises of 2008 resulted in a substantially higher geo-political impact on every financial decision. Hired for his expertise in foreign currency and interest rate derivatives space JPMorgan provided Nishant a global playground to work with. His increasing expertise in market and liquidity risks led to his becoming Head of Banking Markets Compliance as well as Head of NBFC Compliance in JPMorgan. Working across countries and continents, he eventually became head of Operating Risk for India in JPMorgan, an umbrella position that covers risks ranging from technology to process to customer to regulatory to resiliency. 

Now an executive director with the largest and most reputable bank in the world, with twenty years in multinational banks under his belt, Nishant nurtured a dream of creating a professional practices firm that can lead clients cohesively by cross-pollinating expertise across finance, process, technology, law, people, statutory obligations and customer needs.

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Rajesh Agarwal was arrested for allegedly converting black money through doubtful transactions in connivance with two brothers S.K. Jain and V.K. Jain.

The Enforcement Directorate on Tuesday arrested the chartered accountant of Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav’s daughter Misa Bharti in relation with a money laundering case.

According to news agency IANS, Rajesh Agarwal, the accountant was arrested from Delhi for alleged money laundering and involvement in black money market.

He was arrested for allegedly converting black money through doubtful transactions in connivance with two brothers S.K. Jain and V.K. Jain. The Jain brothers were arrested by ED on March 20.

Nearly 90 shell companies were reportedly under ED scanner.

The accountant has also been accused of helping Bharti’s husband’s company Mishail Packers and Printers Pvt Ltd.

The arrest comes after the May 16 Income Tax raids at 22 places in connection with Lalu Prasad Yadav’s “benami” property deals in collusion with his family- Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, Health Minister Tej Pratap Yadav and Misa Bharti, who is also Rajya Sabha MP.

The nabbed Agarwal will be produced in a Delhi court later in the day.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
