Traffic is one of the major issue of every cities. Many cities often face long traffic jams for many hours which is really annoying. What if your city has got something which can relieve from the rush-hour traffic in just few minutes.

On Wednesday, a video was shared by the Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying on Twitter where she is showing how traffic jam is being handled in Beijing. Many cities in China often face long hours traffic jams like Beijing, Shenzhen, Shanghai and many more cities in China. So, to overcome this, the Chinese authorities have come up with an innovative idea which is just amazing to watch.

Hua Chunying, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson took to his Twitter and shared the viral video in which she showed how the reversible lanes helps the China to improve long traffic flow. She wrote, How does Beijing relieve traffic jams? By changing the direction of traffic. Here’s how they do it. The traffic authority selects a lane to go one direction in the morning and the opposite direction in the evening to release peak pressure.

In the viral video, it can be seen that, there are two vehicles which are seen folding a zipper lane or you can say reversible lane, which was made and fixed on the side of the lane to ease long traffic congestion in their city.

Till now, this viral clip has been viewed more than 92,000 times. The internet users were impressed and happy to see this and applauded the great idea of China to stop traffic congestion.

This reversible lane technology is not new in the country. Earlier, the United States launched this engineering innovation in the year 1960 in an effort, to relieve traffic congestion on the Golden Gate Bridge highway.
