Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut has finally unveiled the first look of her much-awaited film, Emergency. As the name suggests this movie is a biopic on the first woman Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi.

And the actor’s resemblance to the Iron Lady of India is uncanny. Kangana shared the poster and the teaser of Emergency. And she her transformation is being hailed by the tweeple. Her look as former prime Minister is simply stunning.

While sharing the poster on her Instagram handle, Kangana wrote, ‘Presenting Emergency’s First Look! Portraying one of the most powerful and controversial women in the history of the world. Emergency shoot begins.’

The Dhaakad actor also shared the teaser of Emergency, where a man is seen attending a phone call. And soon he walks towards a huge office. Later a woman is seen standing in the hall and looking at some files. The man says that the President of the US is wanting to know if they can address her as ‘Madam’.

To which Kangana very fiercely replies, “Okay! lekin America ke president ko keh dena ki mujhe mere daftar me sab madam nahi ‘Sir’ kehte hain.” Kangana also shared the teaser on her Instagram profile and wrote, ‘Presenting ‘Her’ who was called ‘Sir’. Emergency shoot begins.’

As soon as the teaser and poster were shared on social media, audience showered love to the Dhaakad actor. Kangana Ranaut will not only direct the film but the story is only brought by her and she is also producing Emergency. Now the actor has entered the Amir Khan club, where she’ll not only write her film but will also act, direct and produce her own movie.

Emergency movie is based on true events that unfolded in 1975. The film will show the incidents that took place under the leadership first woman Prime Minister of India, Mrs. Indira Gandhi, who till date is regarded as one of the most Powerful Women in Indian History. Emergency will hit the theatres in 2023.
