The Bharatiya Janata Party’s Nupur Sharma has created a stir across India through her controversial remark against Prophet Muhammad during a TV debate. Her statements triggered a row following which the BJP suspended her and Naveen Jindal’s membership.

In this episode, Kashmir-based- YouTuber Faisal Wani uploaded a video on his channel which showed him beheading Nupur Sharma. The video was widely circulated on social media following which he took down the video from YouTube. Now, Wani has apologised for the same.

In an apology video, Wani said that he made a VFX in the video which went viral in no time. He agreed that he made the video but did not have any ill intentions. Further, he apologised for hurting anyone.

Who is Faisal Bani?

The Kashmiri Youtuber, Faisal Wani, owns a fitness channel by the name Deep Pain Fitness on YouTube. In the now-deleted video on Nupur Sharma, the bare-chested Wani beheaded a picture of Sharma and picked up the head.

In the video, he said he is a simple person and his business of ladies’ garments have not been doing well. He is also active on Instagram and enjoys 1,342 followers on the social media platform.

Nupur Sharma controversy

Nupur Sharma made a controversial remark against Prophet Muhammad and his wife during a TV debate which led to communal violence in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh and 40 people got injured.

Sharma received massive flak on social media and Gulf countries condemned BJP. The party then suspended the membership of Nupur Sharma and Naveen Jindal, who tweeted derogatory remarks.

The BJP’s national general secretary, Arun Singh issued a statement which read that the party does not condone insults to any religion and respects all faiths.

An FIR was also filed against Sharma at Pydhonie Police Station in Mumbai under sections 295A (hurting religious feelings), 153A (promoting enmity) and 505B of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The case was filed by Raza Academy, a Sunni Barelvi organisation of Indian Sunni Muslims.
