A bit of French and a bit of Indian, sounds good, right? But, what if we tell you that mix French cuisine and Indian cuisine together, wouldn’t it be bizarre? But someone just did that and even named it Cramosa- which is a combination of Croissant and Samosa. Cramosa is the new combination of croissant and samosa that has been taking over the internet. It’s an attempt to bring India’s street food Samosa – a  fried stuffed snack and French croissant- a crescent-shaped roll together.

Samosa is a famous snack in India. It’s a deep-fried snack that is in the shape of a triangle. This dish is stuffed with different items, but most of the time potatoes, spices and herbs are used for its stuffing. Whenever you talk about the street food of India,  Samosa is an unavoidable item and you will hardly find people who haven’t tried it. Not only people of India but even the foreign visitors are often delighted to try it and end up loving it.

Croissants are pastries of Austrian origin but are mostly associated with France. This delicacy got its name from its crescent shape which resembles the moon. They are sweet in taste and often have fillings inside.

And Cramosa is an attempt to bring both these absolutely different items together, to make a unique combination. Not sure about the success of the experiment in terms of taste, but it surely became a trending topic. People are having mixed reactions regarding it. While some are in favour, appreciating the uniqueness of the item. On the other side, there are people who find it a disaster.

It’s not the first time there has been an attempt to make something bizarre, by mixing up the items. People have been making a fusion of different food items, coming up with a whole new item. While some were loved and appreciated but there were also the ones that received a lot of hate as well.
