A shocking incident of gang-rape has come to light from Uttar Prades’s Ghaziabad city. A Delhi girl was allegedly raped by five men.

Ghaziabad City SP Nipun Agarwal said that on October 18, the Nandgram police station received an information that a woman was lying near Ashram Road. The police took her to the hospital. She’s a resident of Delhi and had come to her brother’s residence in Nandgram.

He said that after her brother dropped her off, five people -who were known to her- took her away and gang-raped her. An FIR has been registered and four people was taken into the custody. It was being said that they have a property dispute and the matter was sub-judice. The were taking all necessary actions in this case.

Meanwhile, Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) has issued a notice to the Ghaziabad police in this matter. DCW chief Swati Maliwal informed on Twitter that the Delhi girl was on her way back from Ghaziabad in the night when she was forcibly taken away in a car. Five people raped for two days and a rod was inserted in her private parts. The rod was still inside it when it was found in a sack on the side of the road. She was fighting for life in the hospital. A notice has been issued to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Ghaziabad.

In a similar incident, a two-year-old girl was gang raped in the city on October 15. She was found crying near the PMD road rail line in the Link Road police station. She was being treated at the Mahila District Hospital, Ghaziabad. The doctors confirmed the rape. Later, she was transferred to the LLRM Medical College, Merrut. Reports said that there she has a serious injury in the intestines. He will have to undergo surgery.

According to the reports, two Ghaziabad police personnel were stationed outside the ward to protect the girl.
