Sachin Tendulkar, a former Indian batting legend, uploaded photos from his recent trip to Kenya. Tendulkar, 50, enjoyed dancing with the crowd after receiving a guard of honour from them in recognition of his achievements as a cricket player. Tendulkar posted three images of it on his official Instagram account.

The phenomenal run-getter shared images on social media a week ago while on holiday with his wife and daughter in Kenya’s Masai Mara. Additionally, there were images of the family on safari when they encountered giraffes, ostriches, and cheetahs.

With over 1 million likes and comments in just one day, the post received a tremendous amount of attention.

Tendulkar, one of the top game experts, has been active on social media and gained focus when he questioned Ravichandran Ashwin’s absence from India’s World Test Championship (WTC) final against Australia. The 200-Test veteran said that skilled spinners do not necessarily rely on turning tracks to make things happen after praising Steve Smith and Travis Head for setting up the game for Australia on day 1.

In the meantime, Sachin Tendulkar, who scored the most runs in both Test and ODI cricket, retired in 2013. After making his international debut in 1989, the right-handed batter scored 18426 runs in 463 ODIs and 15921 runs in 200 Test matches. Additionally, he has the highest cap in both formats.

The World Cup success eluded Tendulkar until 2011, as India lost the previous five editions in which he played, including 2003 when the Men in Blue made it to the final. Tendulkar has been active on social media and gained attention during India’s World Test Championship (WTC) final against Australia, questioning Ravichandran. When India defeated Sri Lanka by six wickets in the championship match in 2011, the Mumbai-born batsman finally got to hold the cherished trophy. Tendulkar scored 482 runs in 9 matches at a 53.55 average, placing him second in the tournament in runs scored.

New Zealand’s all-time leading ODI and Test run-scorer, Ross Taylor on Monday played his final international game for the BlackCaps against the Netherlands on Monday at Seddon Park in Hamilton.

However, Taylor could not do much in his final match and scored just 14 off 16 balls but received a guard of honour from Netherland players as the senior batter walked out to bat in his final ODI innings.

Taylor, who was also accompanied by his three children – Mackenzie, Jonty, and Adelaide, had tears in his eyes as he stood for the national anthem with his teammate ahead of the start of his final international game. His wife Victoria and the extended family were also present at the venue.

However, the cricketers from different eras came together to extend their wishes to Taylor on his retirement. New Zealand Cricket shared a video of him in which he can be seen crying during the recitation of the national anthem. The video has also been shared by cricket legens Rahul Dravid, Virat Kohli, Daniel Vettori and others.

New Zealand skipper Tom Latham won the toss and put the Dutchmen into the field. Apart from scoring 14 in his final game, Taylor had scored 11 and 1 in the first two matches of the three-match ODI series.

Representing New Zealand in all formats of the game, Ross Taylor, who made his international debut in March 2006 and announced his retirement plans at the end of last year, has scored more than 15,000 runs. New Zealand’s all-time highest run-scorer in Tests (7684) and ODIs (8602). It was Taylor’s 450th match for New Zealand.

In the Indian Premier League, he had been part of Royal Challengers Bangalore, Rajasthan Royals, Pune Warriors and Delhi Daredevils which is now Delhi Capitals.
