Mejari Mallikarjuna, a resident from Andhra Pradesh has set a world record with his amazing typing speed. He has achieved a Guinness World Record title by typing the numbers one to fifty in the fastest time ever recorded. He completed the aforesaid typing in 13.16 seconds. In an attempt to qualify for the world record, he punctuated each number with a full stop. 

Mejari Mallikarjuna hails from Punganuru, a municipality city in Chittor district of Andhra Pradesh. Mallikarjuna achieved this remarkable feat on June 11, according to Guinness World Records. Reportedly, he took up this challenge to enhance his self-assurance. The Guinness World Records shared a video clip of Mejari Mallikarjuna on Wednesday through Twitter. 

The video went viral on various social media platforms and obtained more than 35,000 views. Many social media users claimed that they could have typed faster than Mejari Mallikarjuna. A Twitter user commented that he thinks that he can do the aforesaid typing in less than 10 seconds, adding that he did it once. He asserted that this feat cannot be counted as a record. Another social media enthusiast remarked that he is prepared to break the record, enquiring how he can register to the Guinness World Records. 

As far as records are concerned, this is not the only typing-related world record that has been broken by an Indian. Earlier, S K Ashraf from Telangana acclaimed the world record for the fastest time to type the alphabet by completing it in 3.37 seconds. Ashraf achieved this feat on October 10, 2017.

In addition to this, Mikaeel Faraz from Pakistan established a similar record by typing the English alphabet on a touch screen mobile phone within 3.01 seconds in 2022. With this lightning speed, Mikaeel Faraz registered a new world record. He achieved this record in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on July 18, 2022.

After bagging the title, Jasmine said that she feels overwhelmed after getting her got entered in the world record. The record holder said that she used to think about putting her name there all the time. In order to make her dream a reality, she used to practice arranging chess pieces for hours. It took years of practice to make the dream into reality, Jasmine added in her statement.

As per Guinness World Records, David Rush from the USA created a world record in the same genre IN 2021. He arranged the chess pieces in 30.31 seconds. Earlier, the record belonged to Nakul Ramaswamy from the US. He took 31.55 seconds in 2019. While Alva Wei in 2015 bags the title by taking 32.42 seconds.

It has been reported that Joel has spent over an hour and a half removing the colourful jingling balls that he had attached to his beard for two and a half hours.

Ever since the clip was shared on the internet, it has gained a lot of views, likes and comments in no time. While many internet users criticised him for wasting his time over such things, some appreciated his patience level.
