Guru Tegh Bahadur Jayanti 2022 is of the most important festivals for the Sikh community. This festival is also known as Prakash Parv. The festival is being celebrated to mark the birth date of the Ninth Guru of Sikhism. Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji was Guru Hargobind’s youngest son and was born in the year 1621.

Every year on April 21, the nation commemorates Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s birth anniversary. This is the 400th anniversary of the Sikh Guru’s birth. He is universally recognized as the Saviour Guru and an honorable scholar and poet who made significant contributions to the Sri Guru Granth Sahib, Sikhism’s sacred book.

Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji is known as a warrior guru who struggled hard for religious freedom. His lessons on humanity, bravery, death, dignity, and other subjects have been incorporated into the Guru Granth Sahib.
