Another Khanjawala like incident transpired in Uttar Pradesh’s Hardoi where a boy returning from tuition got his foot stuck at the back of a vehicle which led to him being dragged along the vehicle. According to reports, the people followed the vehicle in order to stop the vehicle.

In the video, a boy can be seen getting dragged along the vehicle as the vehicle crosses a line of a residential road. The video also shows various other people following the car in order to inform the car driver about the boy’s foot being stuck.

The people following the vehicle can be seen waving their hands at the car as they signaled the car driver to stop.

According to reports, the driver didn’t stop even after being asked by the people around, after which, a crowd of people joined hands to stop the vehicle. The car driver, identified as Jitendra, was brutally beaten up by the people for not stopping his car.

The car which was a part of the incident was also vandalized and turned by the residents as they agitated against the driver.

Police action

The police promptly swung into action and rushed to the scene of the crime as the police dispersed the agitated crowd and rushed the boy to a nearby hospital. It was also reported that the driver was taken into the custody of police.

Another incident

Another incident of a similar nature came to light from Delhi’s Kanjhawala where a car rammed into a scooty on the eve of new years. The victim was sitting alongside her friend when the incident transpired. It was reported that the victim had gotten her leg stuck to the car which fled the scene.

The car had dragged the victim along with them as they fled the scene, it was reported that the body of the victim was dragged for almost 13 Kms before the body detached from the car. The men accused in the case are in police custody.

The Karwa Chauth celebration turned tragic for a woman after her husband stabbed her multiple times in Uttar Pradesh’s Hardoi district on Thursday. The incident is reported from Azad Nagar’s Kotwali area.

According to the police, the victim, identified as Moni Gupta, who was fasting for her husband’s long life, was attacked over a dozen times by her husband, Manoj. As per the reports, the children weren’t at home during the incident.

The reports state that the children had gone to the coaching centre when the husband came home and suddenly started stabbing his wife with knives, leaving her critically injured. Soon after hearing the victim’s cries, the neighbours rushed to the spot and found her lying in a pool of blood. The accused ran away.

Following this, the neighbours informed the police about the incident. The police immediately rushed to the scene and admitted the victim to a nearby medical college. Speaking about the victim’s condition, the doctors informed her relatives of her critical condition.

The police have registered a case against a man. The police couldn’t find the exact motive behind the crime, but the victim’s family alleged that the couple had a fight a few days ago, after which she complained to the police, but the matter wasn’t taken up.

Moni and Manoj have been married for 22 years, but the victim’s family claimed that Manoj had been harassing her for quite some time now and had also beaten her three days ago.

Further investigation is underway.

A man in Uttar Pradesh’s Hardoi district shocked everyone on Wednesday afternoon when he was seen calmly walking down the road with the severed head of his 17-year-old daughter.

The horrific incident took place in Pandetara village where a man identified as Sarvesh Kumar was spotted walking with his daughter’s head. The man who spotted Kumar, called the police.

Two police officers reached on spot to intercept him and started filming him on one of their phones. The officers asked him his name, where he was from and whose head was he carrying. Kumar replied without any hesitation.

In the video, he admits to beheading his daughter with a sharp tool because he was unhappy with her relationship with a man.

The policemen brought Sarvesh to the police station and arrested him for killing his daughter.

Kapil Deo Singh, a police official in Hardoi said a person named Sarvesh Kumar killed his teenage daughter and was spotted carrying her severed head on the road. The police intercepted him as soon as the officers received information about it and have taken him into custody. The police administration have also taken serious note of a photo which shows a police official carrying her head inappropriately and he has been suspended.

Uttar Pradesh topped the list of states with the highest number of crimes against women in 2019, the latest data released by the National Crime Record Bureau in September last year showed.
