Amid the continuous rising in fuel prices in the country, leading car and two-wheeler manufacturers launching or turning vehicles electric. To match the demand of the customers, homegrown Royal Enfield also taking steps to enter into the industry by turning its existing Himalayan into electric. However, the company has not revealed any specific details regarding the same as of now.

According to the media reports, it has suggested that the company has been working towards the Himalayan version for the past few years. The report says the model is still in its initial development phase and likely to get unveiled in its concept avatar somewhere around in the start of 2024 or 2025.

If rumors are to be believed, the Chennai-based two-wheeler maker is likely to transform the whole structure of the vehicle in terms of design. Customers can expect new technology and some advanced features in it. It has been reported that the firm might change the whole speedo meter and include a fully digital instrumental cluster, under which all bike enthusiasts will be able to connect their smartphones with it in order to get direct notifications on the front screen.

The RE electric motorcycle’s leaked images which have surfaced on the internet hinted that the upcoming Himalayan range is likely to share the signature styling so that customers will able to recognize the vehicle(especially the front end).

In the photos, a respectable ground clearance and an external charger indicator also can be seen, which looks quite impressive. The image further reveals that the vehicle’s front suspension is likely to feature a unique girder fork. The model will carry neo-vintage/classic styling with high-quality tactile finishes

As far as the circular headlamp and the conventional tear-drop fuel tank is concerned, it is based on retro styling and looks quite appealing.
