A video has emerged on the internet from Uttar Pradesh’s Balia district hospital where a homeguard was working as an X-ray technician instead of a professional.

In the video, a homeguard can be seen consulting two people who can be informing him about his problems after which the homeguard directs them toward the x-ray machine. The homeguard can be seen telling the patient how to stand and get the x-ray done.

The video also shows the official, after telling the patient how to stand, proceeding to start the X-ray machine. The video also shows another homeguard walking into the room during the x-ray.

After the video of the incident went viral, many users came forward to add their take on the incident. One user wrote and sought a probe into the matter and further suggested that it is quite possible that the homeguard’s intent is corrupted.

One user also wrote and suggested that the homeguard should resign from his post and be made an x-ray machine technician altogether.

One user also wrote and lamented that the Ballia district is the most backward, and disease-ridden, and further added that the region has become a victim of politicians and ministers. The user also questioned the ruling MLAs of the district and scrutinized the incumbency for the plight of the district.

One user also wrote and sought an investigation to be carried out in all government hospitals in the Ballia district.

One user also wrote and said that if the homeguard is helping people with his expertise, why do people have a problem with that?

One user facetiously wrote that if we give it more time and let it nestle, the homeguard just might be able to perform an operation.
