The leading Japanese car manufacturer Honda is all set to woo all car enthusiasts with its upcoming SUV in India. However, the company has not shared many details about the vehicle as of now, but the four-wheeler already has been spotted many times during its testing.

As per the speculations and media reports, it has been suggested that the car is likely to hit the market around this Diwali, which means interested customers just have to wait for a few months to get their hands on the feature-loaded vehicle.

Know everything about Honda’s upcoming SUV

Ahead of the official launch, the vehicle has been spotted under heavy camouflage, revealing some of its style and design. Talking about the front, it is expected that it will come with Honda’s typical style, which means customers can expect it with upright grilles, and an updated bumper with some noticeable changes in its design. As per the leaked images, there is a high chance that it will come with a wider electric sunroof with roof rails.

When it comes to rear design, one can expect its tail-lights similar to the new-gen WR-V, which the company has already revealed in the overseas model late last year. The upcoming SUV also comes with a sloping roofline with a tailgate-mounted spoiler, which somehow will enhance the look of the vehicle. The report says that the SUV might get larger, multi-spoke wheels with a squarish design.

The forthcoming Honda SUV will probably feature the same engine as its fifth-gen City, which means it will come with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine that will generate 121 horsepower. While the 1.5-litre strong-hybrid powertrain is expected to release similar power as Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.

As far as the gearbox is concerned, it might feature a 6-speed manual and a CVT for the 1.5-petrol engine.
