The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has declared a new date of examination for Bihar candidates. ICAI CA Exam 2020 scheduled on November 2, 3, 6 and 7 have been postponed with immediate effect due to the upcoming Bihar Legislative Assembly Elections.

The new exam dates for ICAI November 2020 are November 19, 21, and 25 with the paper-wise schedule to be updated on the official website icai.org. The state-wise list of papers and exam centres will be informed separately.

Relaxation to select from November 2020 attempt for all levels

There is a relief for candidates who are Covid-19 positive or have symptoms of diseases. They will be provided with a self-declaration option that will also continue during the conduct of complete ICAI CA November 2020 examinations. This scheme is also for centres or students’ residence which becomes the containment zone in between the exam dates. They will get all benefits of candidature along with fee and exemptions for next year’s exam, i.e., May 2021.

Number of Exam Centres Increased

The standard operating procedures released by ICAI also discusses the increase in a number of examination centres from 505 (decided for May 2020 Exam) to 915 for November 2020. The exams will also cover additional 192 districts to help aspirants not to move out of their district to the extent possible.
