After a video apparently showing 4 women police constables dancing to a Bhojpuri song appeared online, they were suspended from their duties as part of the security at the Ram Janmabhoomi site, officials said on Friday.

According to them, the suspended constables were not wearing their uniforms in the video that was widely disseminated on social media.

Based on an inquiry report submitted by Additional SP (security), Pankaj Pandey on Thursday, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Muniraj G ordered the suspension of constables Kavita Patel, Kamini Kushwaha, Kashish Sahni, and Sandhya Singh.

The Ayodhya’s senior superintendent of police Muniraj G reportedly ordered the suspension after seeing a video of one of them dancing to the Bhojpuri song “Patli Kamariya Mori” as the other two support her on social media. There was no official comment, however it was claimed that the fourth constable took the footage.

The SSP transferred the four constables who were stationed at Ram Janambhoomi to the district police lines after the video became viral earlier this week and gave additional SP (security) Pankaj Pandey control of the investigation.

After the video went viral, the social media users started pouring comments and were seen standing in support of the cops.

A social media user wrote that the action taken against these women cops was wrong, as they should also be allowed to enjoy.

Another Twitter user wondered what was wrong in dancing without a uniform. He urged Ayodhya Police to rather focus on their work instead of taking stringent actions against their own officers.

A social media user, going by the name of Ravish Bharti wrote that Ayodhya Police had such narrow mindset, and that the SSP must be a hardcore Taliban fan, he added.

Notably, the reels on Bhojpuri song ‘Patli Kamariya Mori’ are becoming popular on several social media platforms and that these women cops had shot a video on the same song.

While looking at a phone, Sonu is seen putting the majority of the juice into Khaby’s glass. Sonu has just a few sips of juice remaining, which he silently adds to his glass along with a sipping straw.

Sonu observes and politely declines Khaby’s apparent offer to pass his glass of juice to him.

The twist in the video occurs when Khaby immediately takes hold of the straw from Sonu’s juice glass and place it in his own. He then does his trademark gesture of pointing to it with both hands, as if to explain the obvious.

Sonu’s signs of frustration are seen towards the end of the video when he drinks the last of his own juice.

The pair’s entertaining dialogue sent fans into a frenzy. They used laughing emojis in the comment area to express their reactions.

Sonu last made an appearance in the Akshay Kumar film “Samrat Prithviraj” in the meantime. He will soon be seen in the Tamil movie “Thamilarasan.” Additionally, he is cast in the action-drama “Fateh” by Abhinandan Gupta.
