The league phase of Indian Premier League (IPL) concludes on Friday with two matches being played at the same time. This is the first time in IPL history that two matches will be played simultaneously as Sunrisers Hyderabad will face defending champions Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore will play Delhi Capitals. The match starts at 7:30pm on IST.

After Kolkata Knight Riders’ win over Rajasthan Royals, Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians are almost out of the tournament. To qualify for the playoffs MI need to win the match by at least by 170 runs, which don’t seem possible for the men-in-blue. Before winning the match, Mumbai Indians must win their toss too, in order to qualify for the playoffs, because in any case Sunrisers Hyderabad bat first then MI will be automatically out of the tournament, even if they win inside the first over of the first over of the match.

Net-run-rate is the key here and KKR have enough of that to knock five-time champion out of the tournament. Whereas Mumbai Indians (-0.048)  have very less run-rate compared to KKR’s +0.587.
