The Computer Based Test (CBT) for the Joint Admission Test for MSc (JAM) 2022 will be held today. Students will write papers on Biotechnology, Physics, and Mathematical Statistics from 9 am to 12 pm.  While, students will write papers on Chemistry, Economics, Geology, and Mathematics. from 3 pm to 6 pm. 

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has also provided a letter with the admit card for the convenience of Joint Admission Test (JAM) candidates. The letter will serve as a travel pass, allowing for seamless movement to them.

What are the important exam instructions for JAM 2022?

•  Candidates should bring their admit card as well as a valid picture identity evidence such as a PAN card, driver’s licence, aadhaar card or aadhaar enrollment form, ration card, and passport at the exam centre. A scanned photo of an ID in a mobile phone or photocopies of ID cards will not be accepted as genuine photo ID proof at the exam centre. 
• Candidates should arrive at the exam centre at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled exam time.  They will not be permitted to enter inside the exam centre beyond the respective shifts’ closing time.
• Candidates must adhere to Covid-19 SOPs. They will be subjected to a temperature check at the exam centre. Also, they need to maintain social distancing, wear proper mask, and should use hand sanitizer.
• Inside the exam hall, do not wear any jewelry (or any metal items), thick-soled shoes or footwear, or clothing with huge buttons.
• Mobile phones, electronic devices, watches, calculators, personal stationery items, pens, wallets, and goggles will not be permitted.
