Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Madhya Pradesh to celebrate tribal warriors. The vent will take place in Madhya Pradesh’s Bhopal.

In the event, PM Modi will be on the stage for 1 hour 15 minutes, and for that five domes are being built, and it is reportedly said that the state government is spending more than Rs 23 Crore for the event, out of which Rs 13 crore will be spent for transporting people to the event location that will take place at Jamboree Maidan.

PM Modi will be dedicating the country’s first public-private partnership-built Habibganj railway station at Jamboori Maidan in the city.

The Union Cabinet took the decision that as a part of the Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas, there will be several programmes that will take place from November 15 to 22 to commemorate the contributions of Birsa Munda Bhagwan and as well as the tribal freedom fighters.

The event that is going to take place in Jamboree Maidan is going to witness two lakh tribals from across Madhya Pradesh and the whole venue is being decorated with tribal art and pictures of tribal legends.

According to reports, around Rs13 crore is for transportation, food and lodging of people. Apart from this, around Rs 9 crore will be spent on building five domes, tents, decoration and publicity.

However, according to the National Crime Record Bureau (NCRB) data, Madhya Pradesh has reported the highest number of cases of atrocities against Scheduled Tribes at 2,401. In 2019, this figure was 1,922, while in 2018 it was at 1,868. In the duration of two years, the state has shown a jump of 28 per cent in atrocities against tribal people.
