The National Testing Agency has announced the much-awaited JEE Mains 2021 result for session 4. The results are now available on the official website of NTA i.e. jeemain.nta.nic.in, nta.nic.in, ntaresults.nic.in, and nta.ac.in. JEE Main results were announced for both B.E, B. Arch, B. Planning and BTech.

The examination of JEE Mains was conducted in four sessions in 2021. With this, it means that the students got four opportunities to improve their score if they fail to give their best in one attempt.

The NTA also said that by the multiple attempts, the chance of students dropping a year to prepare for the exam gets reduced and they do not have to wait for an entire year to improve their scores.

How to check JEE Mains Result 2021?

Step 1: You need to visit the official website of NTA i.e. jeemain.nta.nic.in

Step 2: Now, you need to click on the link of JEE Main 2021 rank list.

Step 3: After this, you need to enter your roll number and password.

Step 4: Now, click on the submit option.

Step 5: You will be able to see your result and take a printout of the result for future use.

How to calculate the percentile score of JEE Main 2021?

The examination of JEE was conducted in two shifts and the difficulty level of the examination varies. So, to take out the fair result, NTA started a normalisation procedure that is based on the percentile score.

According to the NTA procedure, the percentile score is calculated through this process– number of candidates that appeared in the session with a raw score that is equal to or less than the candidate is multiplied by 100 and the outcome that come is divided by the total number of the candidates appeared in the session.

Now that the result is out, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is set to start the counselling procedure and the students will be allotted seats according to their percentile in JEE Main 202 examination.
