A tough legal feud is going on between Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut and veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar. The Queen actor has appeared before a Mumbai court on Monday for a criminal defamation case filed against her by Javed Akhtar. Last week, the court had warned the actor to issue a warrant against her as she failed to appear in court.

Kangana Ranaut shares powerful post on Instagram:

On Monday, Kangana Ranaut shared a powerful post on her Instagram handle. Sharing some gorgeous pictures on the social media platform, she wrote, “Remember those who can’t make you, they can’t break you either….Also when in these eyes of the storm ….. look it in the eye and …. POSE ….Today was the hearing of Javed Akhtar case which he filed under Shiv Sena pressure….Lone warrior facing hyenas that too in style….”

In the pictures, she can be seen donning a peach-coloured handloom saree and a black shade.

Kangana Ranaut and Javed Akhtar’s feud:

The 76-year-old lyricist filed a defamation case against Kangana Ranaut in November last year. He claimed that the actor had made defamatory remarks against him in a TV interview. In his complaint, Akhtar claimed that Kangana referred to him as a coterie of Bollywood during an interview when the actor Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide in June 2020.

Meanwhile, Kangana has bagged the role of Sita in Alaukik Desai’s film The Incarnation Sita. She shared the updated poster of the film with her fans on Instagram. The film will be produced by Saloni Sharma and Anshita Desai.

Kangana last appeared in the multi-lingual film Thalaivii which got rave reviews from the fans and critics. The biopic was based on the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, the late J Jayalalithaa. The 34-year-old actor will start shooting for her next film Tejas. Apart from Tejas, she has films like Dhaakad, Emergency, Manikarnika Returns lined up in her kitty.
