A tuition teacher who was hired to teach his student has come under suspicion for the murder of his student, Divya. A story has come to light from Karnataka’s Mandya district where a 10-year-old girl who supposedly went for her tuition classes went missing and later was found in a nearby water sump. The man identified as Kantharaj, her tuition teacher was arrested under suspicion of playing a role in her disappearance.

In the video, a large commotion by the people can be seen as people surround the scene of the crime where Divya’s body of found. In the video, people can be seen standing on higher grounds to see the sight of the crime. The sump where the body of the teen was dumped is also visible as the sump looks very narrow and small.

According to reports, the body has been sent for postmortem and the accused is being questioned in the case. A complaint has also been registered and the police have taken the tuition teacher into custody.

An incident of a similar nature was reported recently where a tuition teacher from Delhi’s Mukundpur was arrested for allegedly thrashing his students with a plastic pipe due to them not completing their homework. The allegations by the students also include illegal confinement of the students as the teacher used to lock up the room where he taught.

The police, in relation to the matter, stated that they were informed about the situation after receiving a call where the caller informed the police about kids being beaten up by the students, the complainant further added that his two daughters also were subjected to beating by the tuition teacher as they went for his classes.

The Delhi Commission of Women swung into action and took cognizance of the matter after coming across accounts of children ranging from 6-8 crying after the classes as well as one of them also falling unconscious.

The tuition teacher was arrested on the same day of the complaint and is facing charges of voluntary hurt, wrongful restraint, and cruelty to children, which comes under the Juvenile Justice Act.
