North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has starred in a Hollywood-style video promoting Pyongyang’s latest missile launch, which is said to be the largest intercontinental ballistic missiles test. Kim Jong Un was wearing a gleaming leather jacket and stylish aviator sunglasses in a missile launch test.

North Korean state television broadcasted a propaganda video depicting Kim monitoring the country’s latest missile launch, which was staged in the style of a thriller film.  Kim was backed by uniformed military officers, walks in slow motion, and points as the hangar doors slowly open to unveil the huge missile.

The clip shows Kim Jong walking, looking at his watch, and taking off sunglasses.  The video leading up to the 10-second countdown to the launch was edited to include digital effects, dramatic music and glamour shots of the Hwasong-17 missile, seeking more modern ways to tell its stories.

International commenters, on the other hand, compared this video to the song Aladeen from The Dictator because they found glimpses of Aladeen in Kim Jong Un’s video. Aladeen, like the dictator in the film, does not allow anyone to come before him. In one of the scenes, Aladeen took part in a race and shot everyone who tries to cross him. Tweeple found similarity between Kim’s and Aladeen’s dictatorship.

Tweeple also compared his look to the South Korean K-Pop hit Gangnam Style.

One of the users commented I’ve watched that Kim Jong Un video about 100 times today, and all I could think about were the opening credits to Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Another commented Trump will be watching this over and over.

In one of the scenes when Kim is looking at the watch to start the missile moving to its launching position, one user commented Kim is waiting for his girlfriend. If she doesn’t come, he’ll send her an intercontinental ballistic missile.
