A blood-curdling video has come to light from Uttar Pradesh’s Maharajganj where a man can be seen brutally assaulting her mother as the bystanders complacently watch. The woman had allegedly come to ask for monetary help from his mother. Reports suggest that the police have filed a case in the matter and are probing further.

In the video, a man can be seen brutally beating up his mother as he goes on to kick and punch her. The woman can be seen dropping to the floor as the man continues the assault and kicks her more. One man can also be seen trying to stop the man, however, the man fought off and shoved him and went back to assaulting his mother.

Many bystanders can also be seen intervening and trying to stop the man from assaulting his mother. The relentless man continued to argue with the locals and then finally fled from the place. The bystanders then went on to help the assaulted woman up on her feet and made her sit in a nearby shop.

After the video went viral, many users came forward to condemn the man’s actions and also attacked the man. One user wrote and remarked that things hit rock bottom when the son born from one’s womb becomes the enemy.

Another also added to the conversation and wrote that man assaulting his mother is a monster but questioned the complacent crowd who failed to stop the man with the adequate use of force and condemnation.

Another user also added to their take on the spine-chilling incident and termed the incident as shameful, implying how sickening the crime of assaulting the woman and that too one’s own mother.

A grody incident has come to light from Uttar Pradesh’s Maharajganj district where a man turned to suicide after his partner was set up with another man for marriage. The heartbreak due to his girlfriend being married off to someone else weighed heavy on him to the extent that the man cut his throat with a chainsaw during a Facebook live.

The incident is reported to be from the Bhagwanpur area in Maharajganj where a man who was reportedly in a relationship with a girl from his village turned to suicide after the girl’s family fixed her up with someone else to marry. The man out of anger and dismay chose suicide to be the respite.

However, the manner of the suicide became a talk of the matter as the man used a chainsaw to slit his throat while broadcasting the suicide on Facebook live. It was also reported, the people watching the life stopped and stopped the man from resorting to such drastic measures, however, the man continued on to end his life.

It was also reported that during the incident, the man had lashed out at the family of the girl as he blamed them as well for his drastic measure.

Police action

After the incident was reported, the local police rushed to the scene and took his body in. The police also filed a case and are probing into the matter for the same. Whereas. the family of the victim continues to be in extreme turmoil and grief due to the nature of the suicide.

“Sonia Gandhi has approved the appointment of Shrinate as spokesperson of the All India Congress Committee,” the party’s communications in-charge Randeep Singh Surjewala said in a statement.

Shrinate had contested unsuccessfully as a Congress candidate from Uttar Pradesh’s Maharajganj parliamentary constituency in the Lok Sabha polls.

In March, the Congress replaced jailed politician Amarmani Tripathi’s daughter Tanushree Tripathi with Shrinate as its Lok Sabha candidate from Maharajganj, which was earlier represented by the former journalist’s father.

However, the party faced a major embarrassment when Tanushree Tripathi’s name was announced both by the grand old party and the Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party-Lohia led by Mulayam Singh Yadav’s brother Shivpal Singh Yadav.
