A horrific incident has come to light from Delhi’s Mangolpuri area on Saturday where a man was seen pushing a woman into a car on a busy road. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media. Police have now traced the vehicle and the driver.

In the video, a man in a white t-shirt was seen grabbing a woman by the collar and pushing her violently into the car. The video shows a man thrashing a woman after pushing her inside the car. He then goes on to sit on the front seat while another man in a black t-shirt gets inside the car and sits next to the woman.

Police said that a team of personnel was sent to Gurugram’s Ratan Vihar and the vehicle and driver have been traced.

Delhi Police said two boys and a girl had booked a vehicle from Rohini to Vikaspuri through Uber. On the way, there was an argument and scuffle between them. After the argument, the girl wanted to leave. It is seen in the video that the boy forcibly pushes the girl inside the car.

Police said the probe is underway to ascertain more information about the driver and incident.

Taking cognizance of this viral video of a woman being forced into a vehicle and beaten up, the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) informed on Twitter that she is issuing a notice to the Delhi Police. The commission will ensure strict action against these people, she said.
