A video has emerged on the internet where gold coin cards were being thrown at the bride during the marriage ceremony. The video that emerged on the internet has left many users in a shocked state as the video so far has been watched by more than 820 thousand people so far.

Although the whereabouts of the video are still undetermined, yet from the looks of the video and the currency being thrown, the video seems to be from Pakistan.

In the video, the family members of the bride can be seen dancing and celebrating the wedding event as they go on to throw gold coin cards at the bride for a brief moment which is then followed by cash money. The bride can be seen in a happy state while her family members and relatives shower her with love and money.

The video also shows various people rushing in to scrape off currency notes, as well as the gold cards, from the ground to keep in their pockets.

After the video went viral, many users rushed in to add their humorous take on the viral video as one user wrote and asked for the address for such weddings as they are looking for funding for their PHD, implying that they will be able to survive themselves and their aspirations if they scrape off the money from the floors of the wedding.

Another user came forward and wrote and said that they are so broke that they don’t really know what the cards that are being thrown at the bride are. Implying that they are not exposed to the knowledge of gold coin cards as they have never seen any before.

Another user wrote and said if one goes to a wedding like these, they will be able to sustain themselves for a year after collecting money and gold coin cars from the floor.

Tripura (west) District Magistrate Sailesh Kumar Jadav, has been suspended by the state government, when a video of him went viral on social media platforms in which he can be seen stopping a marriage ceremony in the middle while enforcing coronavirus protocols.

In a viral video, Jadav is clearly can be seen tearing a permission document showed by a lady for holding a marriage ceremony. He was also seen ordering policemen to throw outside every guest at the venue.

On Tuesday, Jadav has apologised for his action. He said he doesn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings, but strict action was needed as the state seeing a sudden surge in coronavirus cases. He said his motive was not to humiliate anyone in the marriage hall.

Many political leaders, including MLA of the area, have criticised Jadav’s rude action against people in the marriage hall.  Tripura BJP MLA Sushanta Chowdhury Tuesday wrote to Chief Secretary, Manoj Kumar, demanding the removal of the DM.

BJP MP from West Tripura district, Pratima Bhowmik has criticised the act and said she will visit the bride’s home that has faced humiliation by the DM and speak to her in the matter.

The owner of the marriage hall, Pradyot Kishore Debbarma said the DM’s action is very unfortunate, he the the the way Jadav has behaved in the marriage hall on Monday is regrettable and demanded an inquiry into the matter.

Earlier, this week, the state government has imposed a night curfew in the Agartala Municipal Corporation area from 10 pm to 5 am from April 22, in order to break the coronavirus chain in the state. The state government said during the night curfew, all essential services will be allowed, marriage hall granted permission to operate with 50 percent of its capacity with full focus on covid-19 norms.

Tripura government on Sunday has extended night curfew to all local urban bodies and Nagar panchayats, increasing its timings by four more hours in view to control the covid situation in the state.

The restrictions, which were in force in Agartala Municipal Corporation areas between 10 pm and 5 am since April 22, would now be in force in all local urban bodies from 6 pm to 5 am the next day, the government said.
