Actor-comedian Mohan Juneja, popular for his stint in KGF: Chapter 2, passed away on Saturday. He was 54.

Reports said that the actor was suffering from a prolonged liver ailment and was admitted to a private hospital in Bengaluru. He stopped responding to the treatment and breathed his last on May 7.

Juneja has worked in more than 100 films in his career spanning over decades. He worked with stars like the late Puneeth Rajkumar, Ambareesh, Darshan, Upendra, Shivarajkumar, and others. His notable works include Sandalwood, KGF: Chapter 1, KGF Chapter 2, Lakshmi, Brindavana, Pade Pade, Koko, Snehitharu, and others.

The deceased actor predominantly worked in Kannada and Telugu films. Born in Bengaluru, he made his acting debut with Shankar Nag’s Wall Poster. However, he gained wide recognition after he appeared in Nagathihalli Chandrashekar’s TV serial Vaatara.

Another fan wrote that Mohan Juneja was truly was a wonderful soul and he prays that God rewards him with heaven.
