The monkeypox cases are gradually rising in the country. Patna is the latest city to report the first suspected case of the monkeypox virus.

The suspected patient is a woman who is showing symptoms of the disease. The tally of the monkeypox virus in the country will rise to 5 if her report comes out to be positive.

According to the reports, teams of virology from PMCH and WHO are on the way to collect the samples.

A day after the World Health Organisation (WHO) declared monkeypox a global health emergency, Delhi reported the first monkeypox case in a 34-year-old man. The other three cases were reported from Kerala.
