Despite numerous cautions, awareness programmes, advisory posts, laws and campaigns the city dwellers still have a tendency of discarding wastes that changed the whole situation of the ocean.

The viral video has been shared by a Twitter user named Mumbaimatterz, who indirectly criticised Mumbaikers for throwing their garbage in the ocean. The Twitter profile also captioned the post where it wrote citizens throng Mahim beach, now have a look at the return Gift from the Arabian sea.

The viral video has gained thousands of views and a lot of comments in no time. It also has attracted tons of comments, where social media users have expressed anger and irritation over the same. One of the users wrote under the comment section that if you people can not respect nature then nature also doesn’t give a damn to people. Another person wrote that if you give to nature it comes back to you, that is called a circle of life. The third user suggested people to still open their eyes until it becomes so late.

People also demanded strict rules against signle use of plastic in the city. They also urged the authorities to not allow people on the beach with plastic bottles or polybags.
