Covid update: Fatalities record significant decline but new cases go over 2.76 lakh. The number of new Covid-19 cases recorded in the country has risen by a few thousand again on Thursday with 2,76,070 more people testing positive, according to data released by the Union health ministry.

Mylab Discovery Solutions on Thursday announced that it has received the Indian Council of Medical Research’s (ICMR) approval for the country’s first self-use rapid antigen test for Covid-19, CoviSelf.

The test can be purchased for ₹250 without a prescription from local pharmacies and online channel partners, the company said in a statement.
