Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said dynastic politics has caused great harm to the country and appealed to the youth to get enrolled as voters and reduce its influence. Inaugurating the 27^th National Youth Festival in Nashik, PM Modi cautioned the young to stay away from drugs. He said the youth of today is the most fortunate generation of the 21^st century. He said the youth of the country will take it to greater heights during Amrit Kaal.

PM Modi said India is the mother of democracy. He said if the youth express their political views by casting their votes, then the future of the country will remain good. He said greater participation of youth in the democratic process will ensure a better future for the nation.

PM Modi said first-time voters bring new energy and power to India’s democracy. He said the 25-year old period of Amrit Kaal is kartavya kaal for the youth when they will prioritise their responsibilities to ensure the progress of society and country.

PM Modi appealed to the youth of the country to promote local products and urged them to stay away from drugs and stop using abusive words in the name of mothers and sisters. He said the young people have the ability to create history in Amrit Kaal because of their intellect and commitment.

The National Youth Festival is organized every year from January 12 to January 16. PM Modi said Swami Vivekananda as a leader who infused near energy among Indians at a time when the country was in slavery. He said India is among the top five global economies. He said India has the top three start up ecosystems because of calibre and commitment of the young people. PM Modi said availability of mobile data at cheapest rates amazes the people of the world. He said India has to become India’s third largest economy.
