Bollywood actor Neha Dhupia has been setting examples out in multiple ways for millions of her fans out there. The actor is popular for her unconventional attitude who often believes in breaking stereotypes and speaking one’s heart out. Neha, who recently gave birth to a baby boy, is hitting headlines yet again.

The Roadies star shared a powerful picture on Wednesday wherein she can be seen breastfeeding her little boy. With the picture, she has used the hashtag #FreedomToFeed with an intention to promote breastfeeding which is often considered as something inappropriate if done publicly.

Earlier, the 41-year-old shared her own breastfeeding experience in the past. In an old interview with a news portral, she revealed that she had to take her child to the toilet to breastfeed on a plane since her co-passengers felt uncomfortable.

Followed by the incident, Neha had begun a campaign in 2019 wherein she asked mothers to share their pictures while breastfeeding their kids on social media.

Neha had also shared a picture of herself breastfeeding her daughter Mehr. She had then slammed a troll objecting to it and said that a mother has her choice of how and where she chooses to feed or breastfeed her child. However, time and time again we see people looking at breastfeeding mothers in a sexual manner. We work each day towards normalising the act of breastfeeding in our communities and are extremely sensitive towards new mothers and parents and as we think everyone should be.

The actor got married to Angad Bedi in 2018 and gave birth to a baby girl, Mehr the same year. On October 3 this year, the couple welcomed a baby boy. Angad had shared the good news with a heartfelt note on his Instagram handle. In the note, he thanked the almighty and his wife for being a warrior through the pregnancy journey.
