Netflix’s Stranger Things season 4 has registered a total viewership of more than 1.15 billion hours. Netflix’s science-fiction drama starring Millie Bobby Brown and Winona Ryder has become the most popular English-language series on Netflix.

With such stats, Stranger Things season 4 has become the second show to cross one billion mark on the viewership charts. The first show to achieve such heights also belongs to Netflix. It’s the South Korean drama Squid Games which had more than 1 billion streaming hours.

Stranger Things season 4 also hit #1 on Netflix’s Top 10 lists in more than 90 countries. This is also a first for any English-language TV series as stated by the streaming company.

Moreover, Stranger Things has achieved this milestone the July 1 debut of the season’s second volume. The 2^nd volume only consists two episodes that run for approximately for four hours. And these new episodes have gained up to 1.15 billion streaming hours. Stranger Things season 4 Volume 1 premiered on May 27.

Meanwhile, Stranger Things season 4 has been receiving positive reviews from all over the world. The new season has not only impressed the audience but also the critics.
