As actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui turned a year older today, B-town celebrities like Kubbra Sait, Rasika Dugal took to Twitter to wish the actor on his 47th birthday. 

Taking to Instagram, Kubbra shared a couple of pictures from the series Sacred Games, in which she shared screen space with the actor. Calling the actor her dear friend, co-actor, mentor and madman to the next level, she said, To all the times I will call you and recheck, “Did I say I love you enough? Happy Birthday – have biryani and be safe and happy. Sending you loads of my love. PS: you have my back and I have yours, she captioned the post.

In the Netflix series Sacred Games, Kubbra and Nawaz portrayed the characters of Kuckoo and Ganesh Gaitonde respectively. She revived the memories of the show as she posted the caricature of their characters sharing an intimate moment on her Twitter handle and wished the actor.

On the other hand, Rasika Dugal, who starred with Nawaz in Nandita Das directorial Manto, extended an adorable birthday wish to the actor. She posted  happy pictures of herself with the actor, and captioned it as,  Happy Happy Birthday ‘Sa Saab’ @nawazuddin._siddiqui. Thank you for always being up to getting the giggles, for sharing excitement about the details, for your unassuming wisdom and for still responding to being called Sa saab by me… Safia ke लिए हमेशा सा साब, To better times when we can work together again.

Meanwhile, Nawaz celebrated his birthday with his son, Yaani Siddiqui, over a video call, as revealed by Aaliya Siddiqui, wife of the actor. While Nawaz is currently at his hometown in Budhana, his wife and kids are staying at their family farmhouse in Kasara.
